I told my disbelieving coworkers that Gore put his foot in the door right after the election, and they didn't believe me.

They adamantly maintained that Dubya would be declared the winner.

And yet we have witnessed all of these legal surprises.

If the US Supreme Court sides with Dubya on 1DEC00, then it will be the end for Gore. If they don't, then Gore will win...
