I'd jest like to know...

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread

...why there's a warnin' at the top of the page when you submit a question that says "you can talk about Animated television shows or anything else. Please do not post cuss words on this board. There are probably little kids on this board so don't." I mean, 99 % of Anime is geared towards teenage or older audiences... it's only here in the US of freakin' A that we slaughter them and "edit" all the so-called "innappropriate" stuff out. Ever seen an uncut version of your fav. saturday mornin' anime show? It ain't nice! So why, then, must we edit our language? I mean, I don't see a whole lot of kids running around here [I don't see too many people here PERIOD, but that's beside the point.] so why? I'm jest curious...

Aint that the truth!!! You know, even some of the "unedited" movies that we buy are edited. Take "Ninja Scroll". The Japanese subtitled version is different from the English dubbed version. America at work here people!!!!
