Buff,

I demand to know why I haven't received advance notice of the AGM. This is totally outrageous. How can I possibly add my vote to your re-election now?

I'm quite sure they've got the good sense to re-elect you unanimously. Have a jar for me.

Thanks for your good wishes fellow bb`sers, finally made it, 3 years as coach, 13 years as manager/coach/secretary, 4 years as secretary, and now voted unamiously on as Chairman/Sec, Geordies here, Geordies there, Geordie every bliddy where la la lal. Did get pie-eyed later, couple of jars with Alex Salmond, (Buff you litle name dropper you), took the good lady shopping today and when she enquired wistfully "Still into the football then", I replied "yes" with a added proviso, when I come to get planted ensure that atop of my box will be the following-: Toon Shart, Mormond Scarf, and pennant, plus my green beret. June then gave me that look that only long suffering wives can, shook her head, muttering bliddy football, qualify for your WFA and you are like a daft kid. No answer to that!!

is there?

-- Anonymous, November 25, 2000

Hmm - can't quite remember. Wonder why! It was either the Cap 'n' Gown or The Witton Chimes or summat. Anyway - after last year, I'd have thought that was the last place you'd wanna go. Or is that why you're asking, just so you don't go there by mistake.

Click here for Memory Lane - nah - not Steph's sister!
