The Club have waived the £100,000 costs incurred by the campaigners. Probably won't make the National Press as its positive PR and no-one likes writing good things about NUFC.

Paranoid? Moi?

It's on Football365 and the Guardian this morning. A quote from the Duffy bird basically says she is complaining that the club should have done this in August thus preventing them from spending £3,000 to investigate the Club's legal fees.

Can the club pursue one person's costs as I wouldn't mind seeing this whining cow humbled in that way. The costs must have been legit otherwise she would be complaining about them now.

No pleasing some folk! Take away her season ticket and give it to me FFS.

Really sound move - well done Freddie!

Yep, a good move. Let her in at SJP and feed her to the animals. Shooting would be far too kind - unless it was done slloooowwwwwwwwllllllllyyy.

Does any one know of any brick shit house rugby playing Bee Smiths of prisoner cell block H - who can twat her.

Why, why did the club pay her costs? Surely Bob 'camp talk' Murray & co, had them covered?

You all dissapoint me, Jane Duffy risked going bankruptsy trying to make a stand for and on behalf of the fans. She , and the rest of the SOS campaigners are genuine fans that are out of pocket because of all of this, they don't deserve your critasism.

The club didnt PAY HER COSTS, they agrred to accept the £120 thousand pounds insurance payout from the sos campaigners and not pursue them to cough up another £80k to their baristers.

the point is they were told they would need up to £100 k to cover court costs before the case. They took out insurance for £120k just in casre they lost. After the case the Newcastle United law team put in a bill for twice as much as it should have been.

It's ever so nice of NUFC to not pursue the individuals for the remaining money but the sums involved in the first place were unrealistic amounts.

Hey Rik, if she/they didn't like the heat, they shuddna gone into the kitchen. They were always onto a loser. And when they lost the first battle, they should have quit then.

So what you are saying Rik is that the lawyers fees were OTT, surely not.
I would much rather see NUFC donating wooly hats to the shoebox appeal in the toon as a PR exercise.
