Watched the Newcastle Tourist Boards Production of "True and Close" last night, featuring Robson Green. Okay I suppose, its a trip down memory lane for us exiles, halfway thro and I thought I wonder if any-one is taping this for the likes of Ciarra/Loony. The dear auld Strawbeery even got an airing, What will the chant be on Sunday -- "Greg Shadwick (ex Brookside) is a corpy - leaves early," The few other locations I failed to identify and as to the legal aspect of the programme that will be covered by Dougal I hope. Was it me or did the lady lawyer with the ice cream name start off with a phony Geordie accent reverting to Edinburgh Morningside half way thro? Apart from Prem Passions when was Scumland used as a location!!" for any doc/film/series/cartoon.

Apart from Prem Passions when was Scumland used as a location!!" for any doc/film/series/cartoon. Didn't/Don't they film 'The Monkeys' down there......You rememebr the series surely......#hey hey we're the Monkeys, Reedy's always f***ing around, but we're to busy losing......#

I taped True and Close as well but not seen it yet......every stock Geordie (and some that aren't but try to be) in the acting profession seemed to be in it.....looked to have good potential.....but will be looking at it over the weekend.
