Yo Night Train, stick around.

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

There is lots of fighting and even some cussin here, and ol' Hawk will sometimes even post some of his favorite gay porno pics. But overall the good kharma is higher, and the wacko creepy factor is lower, here on this board. Do your psyche a favor.

Increasingly I find myself in agreement with capnfun. I am sure this is as much a concern to he as me... ;)

I am no psychologist, but in my opinion Chuck either had the ability to appear a stable and free thinker most of the time, or he actually was a stable and free thinker who digressed horribly.

He opposed the fascism of the Hysterium - or appeared to oppose it - when initially handed the keys. But, though not solely, he is most responsible for the unashamed fascism and censorship that occurred at the Hysterium about one year ago. His "new sheriff in town" post started the entire decline of the place. And he appears to be acting in similar fashion (fascion?) at the new and improved Hysterium.

One may ask: What has changed in a year? Indeed.

Personally, I exchanged email with Chuck. My impression at the time was of a person of integrity.

Now I mourn.

For either I was duped by yet another petty dictator cowering beneath Y2k fears and generated reports and horribly misinterpretted half-to-zero - truths while in search of mental salve; or a truly noble person has succumbed to the memetic maladies of those who befriended him - the Ed Yourdons of the world.

Sadder, yet Wiser, Regards,
Andy Ray

So saith Andy Ray, lost in a meme-warp.

(Psst -- Unk; are you sure you want to stick by that "wacko creepy factor" statement you made there?!)

It occurs to me that Andy Ray and/or nemesis might get the impression my comment was directed toward either of them.

No, it was an obviously lame attempt at a joke about the entire board -- myself included.

Sorry.

Oh, you were making fun of me [throwing things all over the room in a huff]. My cousin made fun of me once. Only did it one time. I can't take criticism. I'm screaming at the top of my lungs. I'm leaving this pathetic place (although I never followed through on my other 50 goodbyes).

rotflmao.......

One of the many reasons I love this looney bin!

(Happy Thanksgiving!)

Dang, it MUST be a holiday - I agree with Unk.

Speaking of digression, Andy Ray, was that a knee jerk repost? Today is Thanksgiving in the states. Folks may claim that it's about being thankful for what we have; turkey; & football. Don't let them fool you - it's really all about pies {cyber freud may think it has something to do with one's perception of their own 'piece of the pie' in a social context}. If you had your druthers here at the Timebomb virtual feast table, would you choose a piece of pumpkin pie; sweet potato pie; pecan; mincemeat; dutch apple...? A' la mode, or whipped cream?

Now, if you reread Unc's post & digest it this time - do you think you might want to come up with a different answer? Even if it is to expand on a theme or something. Look dude, it was a decent invitation. We've all got our warts, eh?

How 'bout another piece of pie?

Patricia:

Hang 'em high, toots.

butt nugget:

Bye hon, write if you find work.
