I'm impressed.

That crane's some size, though.

Haven't seen it in the flesh yet but the pictures look good, it seems the crane is getting the most attention imagine being the driver, sauntering up the Tyne with a bridge on the front of your vehicle!!

As long as it doesn't wobble we'll be one up on the Cockneys.

The crane? You should have seen the one on Thunderbirds last night. It was moving The Empire State Building 200 yards down the road. Unfortunately the ESB fell over half-way necessitating a rescue from the string driven heroes. Don't laugh - it could happen.

ON this matter anyone else think Claudio Ranieri looks like a Thunderbird?

Tore-Andre Flo,

the Chelsea fans should sing that one,

Shows I've been in London too long - I thought you meant Stamford Bridge at first.

Wor lass just came back from the Golden City yesterday and said it was pretty smart, although her descriptions of it left me confused.

It was the Breakfast news bloke calling it a Blinking Eye that woke me from my slumber on Monday morning - it takes me until at least 8.30 and a couple of tabs before I can muster up that sort of bad language (and to the whole nation as well!).

I didn't realise it opened, I complained (what's new?) that attractions such as the Tall Ships would be restricted but I was wrong. A complete U turn an d thumbs up from me.

Tony
I think it's still only able to let small to medium sized boats through. Think I read that HMS Newcastle will no longer be able to come as far up as it usually does when they visit, so I think the Tall Ships coming up as far again is a none starter now.
