I'd like to see the Druids and I would also love to visit pre- communist Tibet.

I'd love to see Manhattan in the early 1700s, and London at the end of the nineteenth century. And of course, now that I've typed those two thoughts, I can think of a hundred other cities that I would like to visit at pivotal moments in their history.

On a more practical note, I'd like go back two years and warn myself not to move to Boston.

Well, that's an easy one, though it would require some months of preparation, particularly in linguistics. I'd like to go to Judea around 25CE and try to locate the Jesus character who was going to become so famous later. Given the multitude of Jesuses, Marys and Josephs at the time, this would probably take a while. But it would certainly spare me a lot of wondering for the rest of my life, I think. (Or perhaps the opposite would happen - who knows?)

Back in time to be apprenticed to Michaelangelo, Benvenuto Cellini, Monet, or to be a close friend of Robert Louis Stevenson. So many times, so many places, so many climes, so many faces and such a tiny individual as me with so little time to do all.

If I could travel back in time I would go to the middle ages, because I just know I am from that time, and I had a happy life there.
