For anyone who's interested, the Pioneer Quest show (mentioned in Countryside) began last night (Sun. Nov. 19) on the Canadian History channel. They have a website at pioneer.history.ca/splash.cfm ...add the http, but no www.

The show was VERY interesting. It consisted of 2 one hour episodes filmed in June/July I believe. The next is not to air until about February. I'd place my bets on PBS picking up and running the first episode before the second runs in Canada in February.

Can this be seen on any satellite station? I checked my satellite listings and did not see it, but maybe I am not looking at the right station.
