Can't really blame them!!

NORWICH CITY are reported to be considering releasing Paul Dalglish - because if they continue to play him they will have to pay a fee to Newcastle. A clause in the player's contract means that his fee to move to The Canaries was subject to the number of appearances he made.

However, with rumours of interest from Bury, Norwich could release Dalglish, whose father Kenny was one of the greatest British players, without demanding a fee.

I always thought Dags Jnr wasn't a bad player. Not good enough for our ambitions, but enough to make it at a lower level PL club or good 1st Div outfit (say, makems for example).

Probably had the Nigel Clough syndrome - never able to fill yer dad's boots (when Kenny was a player, that is), and suffering the consequences.
