Sigma zoom, opinions?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Konica 35mm SLRs : One Thread

I just bought a Sigma zoom lens (52mm SIGMA ZOOM-K II 1:4,5 f=70-210mm MULTICOATED, it says) for Konica mount. While waiting for the first slides I would like to hear of your experiences with this or other Sigma lenses.

Thx,

LePo <:)

SIGMA mini wide 28mm 2.8 w/ hood for KONICA

I just bought this lens for a REALLY good price on eBay. I will post some photos of it (as well as photos from my other lenses) when I get the lens.

Sigma Lenses

Anu, Although Sigma enjoyed a variable and checkered past, in the last fifteen years or so, they have become one of the leaders in lens design. They offer superior products in ranges that most others don't. However, don't expect them to be quite as rugged as Hexanons, although with that being said, they are much better in this regard than everybody else except Tokina, IMHO.
