Sorry but dont think he is worth 12 million pounds

However the planning behind the Cort move had me thinking. If Shearer operates best with a big man alongside - and Cort was bought for that role, surely to god provision should have been made to bring in a third striker in the same mould.Clearly YBR wants two big lads up front - so lets stick with that and get a decent third striker, who will when all are fit give a chance for Al to have a rest. For gods bloody sake isnt it friggin obvious.

Cordone was always a gamble, but at half a mil, worth a risk.Never really felt he was bought to play most games anyhow. Lua Lua for the future. Not now. 3-0 up and a luxury maybe.

But who is around in the price bracket we can afford.....only Corts mate Hartson and he's crocked.Just joking.

Tongue firmly planted in cheek, but how about Niall Quinn. I,m sure the only way to stop him hurting us is to buy him.

"....who is around in the price bracket we can afford".

Marco Gabbiadini, Ally McCoist and Malcolm McDonald!

Forget about Flo, he is overrated. Would go for the Norwegian Helstad, but it seems like Leeds are about to sign him. He scored 20 goals last season and he has apparantly impressed at Leeds. He is quick and he can do much on his own. The price would be in the region of 3,5-4 m.£. But honestly i want some more british blood in the team, but the price for english players is high.

and therein lies our problem...

Bobby needs the cash he has not and will not get

So prepare for more 'second rate south americans' Welcome Pablo Paz

I think at the minute we need a striker more than anything by far. Even when Cort gets back we still need another quality striker as Cordone dosent seem to be up to scratch. Hes got the skill but looks like hes carrying a ton of bricks when he tries to run. What about that 6'7 monster playing for Anderlecht? I heard he played very well against ManUre. Maybe Al cud donate a few million to buy him ;-) From what i can make out we do have the money but the possible new transfer rules are confusing things.

Bring back Sir Les ??????

I think we need a left sided midfielder that can play as a wing back as our first priority.

After that another Central defender ,and f Bobby reckons Paz is the man then I'll treust his fine judgement. Thirdly if funds permit I would go for a swap deal (dyere or Domi for Robbie Keane)failing that I think i'd check out the balgium lad Emille Mpenza.

Jan Koller's the blerk spud. I'm sure he broke his leg recently - should fit in perfectly!

Sir Les looked good today - just imagine a couple of seasons ago we had AS and Sir Les playing up front together - sweet memories.

I read somewhere that Les is jacking it in a the end of this season. Pity - great man. Could still do a job for us - loved it here; maybe he'd be interested?

Ackk didnt hear Koller might have broken his leg. Pity we cudnt get our hands on Hartson for a knock down price of 3 million or so- he was fantastic when i saw him a few mths ago. Even if he did get a few injuries it wudnt be so bad if we had a bit of selection up front. 5 million i hear Chartlon might be paying though ;-( Wudnt be worth the risk at that money.

Clarky, as much as we all love and respect Sir Les, buying crocks ain't no way to build the team, even in the short term.

Koller is back playing for Anderlecht who having qualified for the next phase of the Champions League will be anxious to hang on to him.

I'm not sure about Flo, his aerial ability isn't great and that's what we would be looking for him to provide.

We need someone though!

Just an indication of how optimistic I am right now Bobby.
