Availability of APX 100 (120) in France

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

One a couple of prior lengthy trips to Europe I've packed along my film from home, in little yellow boxes.

Now, for my 120 work, I've pretty much switched over to Agfa APX 100. This film is manufactured in Germany, I believe; does this mean that it will be generally available in France?

It seems counterproductive for me to buy German film in the US then lug it back to Europe. But maybe not.

Thanks.

Germany and France are both EEC countries. I would be very surprised if you could not get your Agfa in France. But I have not been there for a while....

It might be cheaper to order your film for france from Germany. I get my film from www.filmart.de and they do accept major creditcards. Their internet prices are DEM and you have to add 16% tax. I think the 120 Agfa APX 100 is around 3,10 DEM plus tax, total around 3,60 DM. Plus shipping. Inside Germany they charge 12 DM and deliver within 2 days.
