Why was "The Mystery Of Marie Rogert" published one year after poe died? It is a great mystery to me.

Liam, The Mystery of Marie Roget was actually first published in 1842 in the "Ladies Companion". It was also contained in "Tales" which has been reprinted many times. Perhaps that's were your getting a later date. Cheers. Tim
