All state sector information technology projects
are to be put under microscope in the wake of an
inquiry into the dumped INCIS police computer system.

The inquiry also noted that the track record for
the completion of large IT projects both here and
overseas has been poor, with one report showing
only 38 per cent of projects were successfully
completed in New Zealand in terms of time and dollars.
