He told them that he and his colleagues regularly
have to request permission from traffic control to
drive through red lights. And as for the alarm bell
that rings to warn of a potential collision, well,
they just have to ignore it and drive on.

Many drivers complain bitterly about the poor technical
equipment and say stress is causing more and more of
them to quit their jobs.
