Bob, try Sunburst Bottle Company, 1-916-348-5576, www.sunburstbottle.com , they have all sorts of containers, glass and plastic. Also, try the kitchen department at Walmart, etc., there are tons of different Rubbermaid storage containers that might work for you. Annie in SE OH.

I have no idea how much jars would cost and if you would have time to get them and then send out to those you want to give the jerky to. Would the simidisposable food containers like ziplock etc. that are advertized for about 50 cents each work I think they hold about 1 quart. Just a thought as they would be available locally and you could get them now. gail

Try the fairly new GladWare containers at grocery stores, they are very good and inexpensive.

If you know a restuant or a cafe that does take out, especially soups, you may try buying some of those 1 quart soup containers from them.

I just ordered from SKS bottle company (online) - I haven't received my order yet, but the prices seemed pretty good. I use bottles and jars for my lotions and powders, etc. If you just need a few, I would try the Dollar Store. I sometimes order bottles from From Nature with Love - they are really nice people to deal with.
