Spelling, etc., website

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

I have been boning up on my spelling and grammar a lot lately, mostly because I am taking a class in it :)

I have been doing a little surfing and I found a website that has a lot of information. Check it out:

If you are writing a letter to an elected official, for example, you might want to review it before you send it.

Just another public service announcement. (Now if I could only learn to proofread!)

Hi Sheepish,

You wrote, "If you are writing a letter to an elected official--". Is there more than one way to spell 'Dear Sir SOB' ? :-) Hm, maybe that is why they never answer! JLS

Well, I suppose you could put S. O. B. in the salutation.... ;)

Sheepish, Thanks for the website, it has lots of information! Now that I'm homeschooling I feel I have a lot of room for improvement, my son is in 3rd grade, hope I can keep ahead of him:-)
