Crystal Palace Striker Clinton Morrison is on the transfer list and an attempt has been made by Palace to use him as bait in an attempt to persuade Sheff Utd to sell them Marcus Bent.

In the abscence of Tre(Location?), Morrison was rumoured to be the subject of a Toon bid last year, with Mick Wadsworth being familiar with him from his Palace days. Seems a talented lad but with a bit of an attitude but if we bought him on the cheap, we could loan out youngsters like Ameobi to get them the games??

I'd prefer us to stick with who we have.

Shearer with either Lua Lua or Cordone seems OK to me with Gallacher,as back up and Ameobi and Coppinger as the up and comming youngsters. We don't need another average Nationwide league type of striker coming in and rocking the boat.
