It feel to this level last week, but I don't know what triggered it - other than possibly a delayed reaction to the financial results.
It is indeed the all-time low.

Wouldn't worry unduly - in the wake of the U.S. election debacle markets have taken a battering worldwide. Once the transfer-scrapping nonsense is sorted out we should see the share value pick up. And if we ever manage to get rid of Marcelino the price will really rocket!

I think I'll buy at 50, and make a killing.

That's what I thought at 90p - and again at 80p, Rik!!!

Yes I bought mine at 100p when they clearly "couldn't go any lower" as I reasoned.

Well it was never intended as an investment so I'm not bothered in that respect, but a rising share price would indicate a healthy and successful club, so I'd feel better to see the price climbing.

There are probably too many uncertainties at present for the price to move ahead strongly. The major issue is the transfer system which needs resolution and it needs to be seen that the Toon can fill the ground next season and the season after to show that the huge redevelopment will pay off and that the debt can be paid comfortably. The most important individual at the club is past the retirement age of ordinary mortals. (Of course he is not an ordinary mortal, nor even mortal, but I doubt that the financial markets will have noted this fact).

The team has to get back amongst the top 5 or 6, qualify for Europe on a regular basis and cash in on the enormous potential of the global brand. (yawn)

Well, yes, maybe it was more fun when the business issues were above our heads and it cost 1/6d to get in ... :-)

My missus wants to know what facial cream Shearer uses at night. She didn't realise that he's past the retirement age.

Jeez, I hope I'm half as fit at his age.
