That shouldn't be too hard since that is the day after thanksgiving and I doubt anyone will be grocery shopping. That's a BIG Christmas sale day though at least around here but I wouldn't fight those crowds for the buy of the century!!! Count me in!

No way in heck I can do it .Every year after Thanksgiving its get up at 4:00 and be at the store by 5:00 .You get some great sales .

Not hard at all for me to comply, I wouldn't even get caught going to a convienence store the day after Turkey Day, don't like the crowds, or waiting in line at all. I watch for the bargains during the week, and go in the early afternoon, no waiting! Annie in SE OH.

No problem for me. Most days are 'buy nothing' day's around my place. Better yet, spend nothing...turn off the gas, electricity, water, cable, telephone, etc. Well, maybe not the telephone.

Piece of cake! I've gone a month (twice, except for gasoline) this will be easy.

For several years now we have been downloading the poster, enlarging it, mounting it on a stick in our front yard and displaying it the entire week prior. It is just SO MUCH FUN to watch people stop and read it! This is more than a "National" day. It is Global and especially hot in Europe.

Sadly, though, I don't feel it has much impact in this conspicuious consumption society. I HATE shopping--for just about everything.

won't work at our house we save for this day at our house it's national buy things like computers that the stores are using for loss leaders to draw you in so you will spend more money on their over priced @#$%#. Last year we bought a 25" t.v. for 70.00 it must hurt when we dont buy anything but the loss leaders. I also bought a 30.00 microwave for my son. I heard from someone who works at wal mart they will have a computer for around 400.00 thats this years purchase. Ronda

Yes, there are some great sales, but nothing will get me into those crowded stores. I've got to do some serious grocery shopping in the next few days since neither one of us will willing set foot in any store until the after Christmas sales are done. Gerbil (new address)
