I'm trying to create views using the Enterprise Manager UI. After selecting 'New View' and 'add Table' a message 'CoInitialize has not been called' will pump up. Will be happy if you can advise on that.

This error seems to be a Microsoft bug. If you haven't already installed Service Pack 2, try that. If you still get the error (and the buzz is that it has not been fixed in Service Pack 2) use Transact SQL instead. If you must use Enterprise Manager, call Microsoft product support. You will have to give your credit card number and will be charged $249 or so. This will be refunded when they determine that it is a bug. (Which is likely, but of course I cannot guarantee it.)
