This poem does not dissapoint he reader who is looking to journey into the domain of fear. the story entombs its readers in there own cellars of mental dread. whether the story is read as an allegory of the enternal conflict between the unimaginative man and the creative artist, or simply as a self portrait of the two aspects of Poe himself, it remains one of his most brilliantly written tales.

hello, I can't really answer your question, but was wondering if you could answer one of mine. We are both working on the same short story so maybe you could help. I need to find some critics on this story of Poes. Have you ran into any??
