LAPTOPS AND VideoCD Video CD VCD- what u need to play them

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

to play vcd on any win95 or win98 pc(dont know about win2000) u need this file "SCSI1HLP.VXD" in your "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\IOSUBSYS" directory. no ifs ands or buts about it. no file=no play.

by the way, i know all the terms in my subject are the same thing. i want people who LOOK (SOMETHING ALOT OF LAZY PEOPLE DONT DO) to be able to find it. i decided to post this after in 1 day answering three posts regarding laptops and vcd. too much of the same questions on this board. i love answering questions, but not the same stuff i know i answered over a year ago and is in the archives.
