At noon Thursday, West Palm Beach police shut down a portion of Olive Avenue as a crowd of hundreds swarmed into the street outside the county elections supervisor's office to ask for another chance to vote.

To be fair, though, I calculate only a 4.3% Idiot Quotient [pat. pend.] for Palm Beach County (based on roughly 439,000 votes cast with 19,000 "confused" included). That may actually be less than the general population -- but then, not all precincts had all their idiots show up on the same day.

On the good side... based on the interviews I've seen with some of the "confused" voters, it appears that "stupid" is truly independent of age, ethnic background, social strata, or gender. So it would appear that the recent campaign is starting to unite us already.
