Bush Arrogance? I Don't Think So

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

Bush is getting hammered (most recently) for taking steps now to put together a transition team. I don't get that.

The guy has a better than even chance of being the next prez and there's precious little time between now and January. Win or lose I like the idea that he's ready to be ready and would hope that any citizen would appreciate that. That Gore isn't doing the same, well go figure. I chalk it up to the difference between being a governor that has to plan ahead as part of his job and being a VP & ex-senator that never had to plan crap.

I find no fault for planning a possibility, It is called strategy, not unlike planning for retirement when you have no assurance you will live that long. It is called, Hope. By the way, why did you buy pork chops for Sunday Dinner, you might not be alive to cook it.
