Emily,The longest single work in terms of physical length is probably "The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket." However, his longest work in terms of its significance to him, his life and understanding all his other works would most likely be his epic, "Eureka - A Prose Poem." His work that has remained longest, the most popularly recognized piece of literature by Poe, without hesitation, is "The Raven".
