19,000 Palm Beach Votes Apparently Invalidated

I just can't keep up with all that's here, so my apologies if this has already been addressed in a thread.

From the article: At a news conference on Wednesday, Wexler said those 19,000 ballots were double-punched and "disqualified because they voted twice."

So? Sounds like the tabulating software was working exactly as it was designed to. Computers can do lots of things, but they can't read your mind to see what you REALLY intended to do. Yet. If there's a problem, it's more than likely in the wetware.

Because we can't believe everything we hear and only half of what we see, I'm sure they'll find all kinds of discrepancies. I wonder how many nonUS citizens voted? I wonder how many duplicate ballots will be found? They interviewed a few people on TV saying they were denied voting privileges because their names were not on the list. I've noticed that the Bush people are being tight lipped about this whole thing, whereas Gore's circle jumped on Larry King live last night. Both sides are confident that they will win. Hell, I think they should have a recount nationwide while they're at it. Every voter must be verified, I am sure voter fraud can be found. Clinton would love to have that happen, keeps him in power longer.

Tells me one of 2 things...

It was :

A.) Fixed (thanks jeb)

sumer, people in general ARE dumb as rocks. Makes no difference the state of residence. In fact, the only reason rocks do not rule the world is that they are extremely slow-moving. Humans realized they were able to outrun them beginning back about 400,000 years ago (6,000 for you Creationists). This changed the face of history forever.
