Well, it looks like the Daily Toon Team have scored a ticket each (thanks Dave) so we will be driving in a northerly direction come Saturday morning.......where are we all meeting.....any suggestions or direction people.

Someone (GaRCie I think it was)suggested somewhere called The Victory, now call me superstitious if you want, but some of us met in a pub of the same name at Southampton a few weeks back and we got stuffed.....so I am in two minds about that one.

Given that it looks like I'm driving, and therefore not drinking, I don't want to go through that again stone cold sober!

any suggestions people.....and keep them clean! :0)

The bars near filbert street don't serve away fans and I think the victory might be one of them. I do remeber though a couple bars being in close proximity to each other being full of geordies. Can't remember which way though. Sorry. ITK how is tony doin'?

If I remember rightly, there's a place just opposite the ground (away fans section)- its like a mini shopping centre - good pub in there, and no bother.

I went to The Victory last year with Dougal and Ciara. No trouble at all - well, no more an usual with those two ;-)) If you're driving ITK, and can get there reasonably early, then park at the rugby ground - they're used to blokes with odd shaped balls there.
