it is one of those detective stories that many use to identify Poe as the originatory of the modern dectective story. It demonstrates Poe's respect for intellect and rational thinking. There is a film version that is relatively current and is fairly well done. Starring Rebecca De moray/val Kilmer/ George Scott (?)

It's one of the greatest story of E.A. Poe, takes time y the latest 1880's, about a mysterius crimes in the Morge Street. The star of this tale is a french guy, that with his inteligence discover the real facts of that night. I'm not gonna tell the end of the story ,cause is unexpected, fantastic and maybe unreall. If you like it, you would probable want to read the second part of the history, it's another story called "The murder of Ms. Something... sorry but I dont' remember the name of the lady.
