FINALLY How to add Extra files to vcds using WINON CD 3.7 power edition

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Like most of you i would love to add files to my vcds. So far though it seems to be very limited, with the exception of NERO. However Since Nero does not support menus, i am not using it. Well quite by accident i found out that Winon cd power edition 3.7 allows you to add files to your vcds (now i can finally have menus (3.7 upgrade(service pack) only for menu creation))and extra folders or files!!!) Here is how to do it. make your video cd as you normally would. Now if your using the regular 2.0 vcd specs, drag ANY of the extra files or folders you want to appear on the vcd onto the "ISO 9660/joilet" listing (this appears directly under "track one") on the bottom of the screen. it will let you drag and drop your files onto this. Now just burn the vcd and when you are done, you have your video cd. Pop this though into a PC and now you will have the extra folders added as well. If your using the video cd 2.0 extended (only available with the win on 3.7 service pack upgrade). Make your video cd with menus as you noramlly would. Once that is done click the "tracks" button on the bottom left of the screen and you will then see the "ISO 9660/joilet" listing and just drag your extra files or folders onto it and then once your done burn way. I hope this helps some of you out. If someone has figured this out before i never saw it posted anywhere. Now if video pack 4 had a similar option, i would really be in shape. --
