My SON THE TURNCOAT....

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TB2K spinoff uncensored : One Thread

Can you believe my son walked all over my house for weeks with a pin which stated "I refuse to vote for a Son of a Bush". I received countless lectures about how Bush is against Aids Funding, yada, yada, yada, so I was NO way in heck gonna vote Bush.

I mean you *have* to have peace in the family. Well, um, that with the help of the good looking guy passing out treats at the poll area did help, just a lil.

But the bottom line is....the son left saying "I'm gonna go vote for Bush". And YES he was serious.

Don: If you read this....... Rassberries from your MOTHER.

From one mother to another mother.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

'sumer, my Mom always told me, "There comes a time when a mother has to let her daughter or son go and make their own mistakes".

So I did.

Apparently, my Mom told your son the same thing ;-)

Patricia: Double the LOL :-)

Hey, Your MOM 'must' have talked to my son.

Of course, I could have tied him up and held him hostage till the polls closed, roughly 7:00, but I did *let him go*

2 points for Mom

0 points for Son

BTW, mom is feeling a *lil* guilty over voting for Gore :-(

Sheesh what a heck of an election.

'sumer, I don't know why you would feel "guilty" over voting for Gore.

Now if you had voted for Bush..... :-)

Pat,

As a Libertarian, the day after an election I allways think that about both the D's & R's,I'd probably feel guilty too ; )
