Wooden Southern Railway Depot Colors 1901greenspun.com : LUSENET : Southern Railway : One Thread
I understand that the early colors for the Wooden Southern Railway Depots (1901) were Mustard yellow, depot green below with white trim. What are the color numbers and what company makes them? I need to have the answer for the contractor by Friday Nov. 10th. I need a picture to prove that it will look good. Everyone frowns when I tell them it's going to be authentic. Help. A picture is worth a thousand words. Dinah C. Wayne, Flowery Branch, Georgia The Flowery Branch Depot Friends of the Depot

I think this is way too late an answer, but the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer has restored a depot to the time frame in question. The main depot is yellow in color, with green and red trim. If you send me your mailing address, I can send copies of the paperwork used in the depot restoration. I remember the Flowery Branch depot from the NRHS convention out of Atlanta in 1997. I'm glad to hear of another authentic historical restoration. Good Luck!!!
