can I protect a marketing "concept" on a product that isn't cutting edge?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dirck Halstead : One Thread |
I want to market a product that isn't easy to locate in my area (but isn't impossible to find either). I have a very unique concept that would be marketed to a very specific niche of people. Is there any way to protect the marketing approach, as it is creative and not being used? I would appreciate your input. Thanks, Lauren

The answer in a nutshell is no.A marketing or advertising once it beings instantly becomes common domain. How many ads have you seen that have ripped off other commercials ? Like a million ?Also I hope your marketing approach isn't as vague as your question.
