Judging by the way these so-called Libertarians keep cheerleading for Shrub I'd say they are nothing more than embarrased Republicans who are just too ashamed to admit it, so they tell everyone they are voting Libertarian.

You might be on to something. There is an embarassment to being a Republican. It is not cool, doncha know. It has a religious reek, a stodgy stigma, non-intellectuality, a polyester presence and most accursed of all, it lacks compassion.
