Are there any cattle dealers you know ? If so ask them to keep there eyes out for one .Your other option is contact any local farmers that milk and let them know you would be interested in one of there culls .Explain hopefully with children in hand you ONLY want one to supply your little ones with milk ,and only want one they are culling because she is not giving them enough milk .

Yes, I have at least one milking doe for sale! But I live in Idaho, so don't see how that would work. I heard that Bernice is reducing her herd, and they are not culls. I believe she lives in NC which is a lot closer to you than I am.

Yes North of Houston, but they won't be for sale until March.

WVDA Market Bulletin has a 3yr Ayshire heifer listed for $850. Email privately if you want the phone number.

$850.00 I almost died .I was offered ayoung Jersey giving 25 pounds a milking for $250.00 .Goes to show how prices differ .I would not go with registered , the milk still tastes the same but then again I'm cheap!

If I had a trailer I would just bring one down ! My heifer x is going to calve in spring so I am waiting on her unless I get a good deal .Also remember having to milk in the winter and no barn !

If you can get a Jersey that is milking for 250 I would grab her.But I would make sure I could hand milk her without any major trouble first. That is a real low price for a Jersey,I don't want this to come out the wrong way, but look her over real close.
