Why create CGI when something already exists?greenspun.com : LUSENET : bboard project : One Thread
Why create CGI when something already exists? for example, in the area of communication i.e. bb, chat, and e-mail three powerful products exist: MSN messenger, ICQ/AOL instant messenger, and Yahoo's version.

Wes I need to look at the products and see capabilities. As I understand it, main thing about CGI is connectability to a database so that data entered becomes part of the db and info in db can interact with data entry.
Got in with no password, by the way.
