Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it?

How long have you been reading?

How did you originally find digital ink?

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)?

Do you have a favorite period? Like, a certain year that you like, or a certain time -- like, Depression 2000 (just an example; I hope that's not your favorite period), or the Eric/Laura melodrama, etc?

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age?

Anything you wish I'd write about more?

Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)?

Speaking of the cast, is there anyone not on the page that should be?

Any guest entry writers you'd like to see (either people who haven't written one, or people who haven't written one in a while -- also not including yourself)

Who's your favorite guest entry writer (not including yourself)?

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)?

Any other comments?

Answers

No favorite entry in particular.

For about a year.

It was featured on some page...

Because it's actually interesting. That's something you don't find a lot of in journals.

Anything after that whole first faze when each page was a different color.

Probably.

Just write more!

You.

Ummmm

.....

I don't know, I don't really read them

I'd love to meet you in person! ...I'm much more boring.

-- Anonymous, November 04, 2000

I don't really have a favorite entry.

Since summer of 99, if I remember rightly.

I can't really remember.. I think on some other journaller's links page. It would make sense.

You're funny! And intelligent, and you like Catcher in the Rye.

The Eric/Laura melodrama was pretty entertaining..

Yes I'd say it is.

There's not really anything I wish you'd write about more, just more often! ;)

Probably yourself.

I don't think so..

Eric!

I dunno..

Sure I would. I'm boring too. We could sit and stare at each other and be boring.

You're not alone with your book-sniffing tendencies. I do that too!

Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it? - no not particularly?

How long have you been reading? - maybe since this summer . . . longer?

How did you originally find digital ink? - peach.nz.net

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)? - there aren't many other good journalers. However, you have got a bit bland. I think you should talk about personal more than general.

Do you have a favorite period? Like, a certain year that you like, or a certain time -- like, Depression 2000 (just an example; I hope that's not your favorite period), or the Eric/Laura melodrama, etc? - I think your geeky high school period before grad. *LMAO*

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age? - I want more graphics and pictures.

Anything you wish I'd write about more? - sex, drugs, rock'n'roll. Or just sex.

Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)? - Treva. She seems pretty trusting and just a good natured person.

Speaking of the cast, is there anyone not on the page that should be? - If they aren't on here? How would I know them?

Any guest entry writers you'd like to see (either people who haven't written one, or people who haven't written one in a while -- also not including yourself) - don't like guest entries.

Who's your favorite guest entry writer (not including yourself)? - repeat!

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)? - No, I'm extremely superficial (high school and peers can corrupt ones mind) and I find that people usually don't end up being who they really are.

Any other comments? - UPDATE EVERYDAY!

My favorite entry is MY GUEST ENTRY! Ha! (Sorry. Narcissism--ain't it a bitch? Besides, you didn't say "not counting your own, if you're a guest writer.")

About two years.

Eric told me about it. This whas back when he and I were still talking on a regular basis.

I actually found it interesting; compelling, even. Favorite period? Probably the Eric/Laura fiasco, because it hit so close to home, and it was the only way I could find out what the fuck was up with Eric because he and I weren't being very talkative at that point.

Getting better with age? Most definitely.

Maybe you could say a few words about Noah the rabbit? :P Either that or what it's like to live in a room that smells of ferrets.

My favorite cast member is (obviously) my fiancee, Jessica.

The new cast list looks pretty complete to me.

How'bout letting Greg write an entry or two?

I can't say who my favorite GEWs are because I'm too biased towards my friends.

You're not boring; you're just... quiet.

Last Comments: We need to get you out and about, so you can experience "Newport Snooze" in its full glory.

well, not a favourite but I do quite enjoy the k-mart related entries. those were funny!

a couple years...I do recall first coming here when the pen was on the left side with a reddish background..forget.

someone's links page I s'pose...it's been awhile

intriguing, sarcasm, humour. I like that in a journal.

the eric/laura thing was interesting. yes.

well, maybe, but not as many entries have been written in awhile

I agree with everyone else, just write more!! it doesn't matter what on

you

uhh...

I agree that greg should get to write more...hehehehe

I'd say either greg or tim...it's a tie there

sure!! I mean, I can be quiet and boring too, so heeey!

Any other comments? keep up with the site and happy anniversary to the journal..that's all I have to say

My favorite entry was when you found out that your dad (I think) was a Republican. I fell out of my chair laughing. I showed it to everyone I know.

Ever since "The Letter."

Through Sarah's site. I found her site through Jeremy's site, which I found through imood.

You're a good writer. You're on my daily visitations list (better than bookmarks).

My favorite period is what I call "Revolution" -- when you leave college without telling your parents and move to frickin' Virginia. That's great stuff.

Based on what I've read, yes.

Happiness? Yes. I wish you would write more when you are happy.

Uhhhhhh.....Sarah?

Your college roommate? I dunno.

Nar......Eric? Where the hell is he?

I do not know. Tim.

Yes, and I almost considered it. I had planned on going to visit historic Civil War battlefields last summer, and I had an extra plane ticket....I was seriously going to ask you to come along, despite the fact that I'd never met you and despite the fact that that is a rather freakish thing to do. Unfortunately, my plans fell through (weddings and all that crap...uhh...not mine...)

Nope, but thanks for asking.

-- Anonymous, November 04, 2000

Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it? -Not really a favorite but I think your writing skills are good. In my journals I never get to the point I start out wanting to write about. The K-Marts stories I can see with cause I've worked in places like that.

How long have you been reading? -for about a year now I think.

How did you originally find digital ink? -I came over from a link on a friend of mines site.

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)? -Interesting writing from someone who seems to be a very interesting person.

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age? -yes. All good things do.

Anything you wish I'd write about more? -I'll leave that up to you. It is your site after all.

Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)? -you and Greg. You two remind me of a friend of mine and me. Our friendship really started on the internet and now she's my best friend. Matter of fact of my six really good friends, four of them our friendships started on the internet.

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)? -yes. You seem to be a cool person. Any chances at future friendships are good if you ask me. No matter what other people may say my life is proof of the postives of the internet. I've made some really good friends on the net and without it I don't know what I would do to keep in contact with them. Phones bills would be big that's for sure.

I don't really have a favorite entry, but I thought the ones you wrote about K-Mart were hilarious.

I've been reading for about six months...

I keep reading because I can relate to a lot of things you say. You're a great writer, and you have a great sense of humor!

I'm not really sure about a favorite period.

digital ink is definitely getting better with age!!!

Just keep writing!

My favorite cast members are you and Eric.

Not that I can think of.

ERIC!!!

Treva (there's a girl in my school named Treva, and I thought that she was the only one in the world! I guess she's not...it's just not a name I hear very often!)

I would love to meet you in person.

Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it? Yeah Katie... all of your entries are my favorite.. gosh, I just can't pick one. Your wit just astounds me sometimes. How could I narrow down such genius into one selection... :)

How long have you been reading? Over a year, I guess.

How did you originally find digital ink? Oh lord... I must've followed a link or something. I think you started slobbering over me the second you found out I was reading your journal. You kept begging me to read more and even link you in mine... so finally I gave in and threw you a bone.

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)? refer to answer number 1... remember that wit I was talkinga about.. gosh darn, Katie... how could I possibly stay away.

Do you have a favorite period? Like, a certain year that you like, or a certain time -- like, Depression 2000 (just an example; I hope that's not your favorite period), or the Eric/Laura melodrama, etc? Good lord... aren't we a little full of ourselves with all these questions. As for the melodrama, hmm, which one should I choose. Melodrama between Eric and Laura, Melodrama between you and Laura, Melodrama between you and Eric, Melodrama between you and the parents, Melodrama between you and school, Melodrama between you and....

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age? Hmm, what does Katie want to hear now. Yeah, Katie, like a fine wine.... every year you top yourself. Sometimes I just sit her thinking "how does she do it?". Last year was perfection, how will she make it better this year.

Anything you wish I'd write about more? ME! Duh. Or you could send people to read my journal at commixion.gbdesigns.com. :)

Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)? Do you really think I'm so full of myself that I'd say "I" was my favorite cast member? Hmm... my favorite cast member is Brigitte.

Speaking of the cast, is there anyone not on the page that should be? My grandma.

Any guest entry writers you'd like to see (either people who haven't written one, or people who haven't written one in a while -- also not including yourself) Oh lord.. you are making this hard. Well, other people want to hear from ME or Tim or Eric... so I guess Tim, because we all know how much I want to hear from Eric.

Who's your favorite guest entry writer (not including yourself)? How come I can't say ME????? Okay, I guess I'll pick Tim.

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)? God no. Why the hell would I want to meet you. How the hell do you expect people to answer this Katie.. I mean wouldn't it be rude to say no...

Any other comments? Link this Greg guy more...

Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it? Oh goodness, I could never pick.

How long have you been reading? Shince the beginning! A way way long time ago, back when you and I had a couple of the only online journals that haven't since died.

How did you originally find digital ink? I can't remember, it was so long ago. Maybe you emailed me, but I really don't know.

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)? You seemed a lot like me when I started reading, so I kept it up.

Do you have a favorite period? Like, a certain year that you like, or a certain time -- like, Depression 2000 (just an example; I hope that's not your favorite period), or the Eric/ Laura melodrama, etc? Not really.

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age? It's getting a bit more vague I think. Like sometimes I don't know why you're saying something, like it's an inside joke of some sort. But otherwise, keep it going. :)

Anything you wish I'd write about more? Your feelings, possibly.

Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)? You.

Speaking of the cast, is there anyone not on the page that should be? Don't know.

Any guest entry writers you'd like to see (either people who haven't written one, or people who haven't written one in a while -- also not including yourself) Uncertain.

Who's your favorite guest entry writer (not including yourself)?Uncertain.

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)? Sure, I've known you/have been reading for soo long.

Any other comments? Hey Katie, it's Allison from the former "roller coaster", remember me? Haha. Anyway, Hope things are going well! :-)

-- Anonymous, November 05, 2000

Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it? Any entry that you don't beat around the bush confusing me by being vague. ;)

How long have you been reading? At least 2 years.

How did you originally find digital ink? I have no idea. Probably a link from someone else's page or from pine-scented.

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)? You're funny and real.

Do you have a favorite period? Like, a certain year that you like, or a certain time -- like, Depression 2000 (just an example; I hope that's not your favorite period), or the Eric/Laura melodrama, etc? I kinda liked when you were chasing that guy from Taco Bell I think it was. Ok you weren't really "chasing"..well..anyway, the past few months have been good. The depression thing sucked. (I mean for you) I'm glad you're happier.

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age? Yeah.

Anything you wish I'd write about more? I just wihs you'd write more period.

Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)? Greg.

Speaking of the cast, is there anyone not on the page that should be? I dunno

Any guest entry writers you'd like to see (either people who haven't written one, or people who haven't written one in a while -- also not including yourself) One of your new housemates maybe?

Who's your favorite guest entry writer (not including yourself)? Greg

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)? Is this an offer?

Any other comments? Go katie.

Favourite entry: the one that stands out in my mind was a *really* long bitchy one about K-Mart. However, the K-Mart entries in general were groovy.

How long have I been reading: Since August 1998. Don't ask why I remember. I've read about half of the entries from before then too.

How I found digital ink: It was linked from more or less every teenage journallers' links page, and then some.

What made me keep reading: The "Daria"-ish-ness of it. Not that I even saw "Daria" until August 2000, but that's the best way I can describe the appeal.

Favourite period: Hmm. Ask me one on Geography. ("Where was I when I wrote your favourite entries?")

Getting better with age: I think your writing style is improving, and it's getting more humorous. I liked the entries concerning your impressions of college. Buuuuuuut the absence of entries, or entries giving specific detail, during recent dramatic times annoyed me slightly. I can see why you didn't write much, but I'm an evil voyeur.

Anything I wish you'd write about more: Eric.

Favourite cast member: Your mother. Villains have a certain appeal.

Anyone not on the cast page: Not that I can think of.

Guest entry writers: Eric.

Favourite guest entry writer: I hate to say this, but Tim.

Would I ever want to meet you: Yeah. 1) I don't think you're boring and 2) I'm exceedingly boring. We could be boring together.

Any other comments: Can I steal this survey for my three-year- anniversary?

-- Anonymous, November 06, 2000

Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it? I'm going to be boring and say the Kmart ones just like everyone else, but one of the Kmart entries was the first one I read and it was, in fact, hilarious. FYI, I thought the room tour one(s) was a bit lax.

How long have you been reading? Hrm. Maybe six months? No, maybe not that long. I really don't know. It's 9 in the freaking morning.

How did you originally find digital ink? Through everyone's most loved or most depised character, Eric (but I call him Golf, neener neener)

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)? Partly at first to see what was going on in Eric's life (that oughta swell his head up good and proper), then later b/c your writing was so good and so amusing. I never even liked journal pages before yours, and now thanks to you I have like 6 that I read every day and I want my own. But you already knew that.

Do you have a favorite period? Um, since I've only really observed the Great Upheaval I'm going to pick that as my favorite. It showed a lot of moxie, see. :)

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age? Fer sure, even though I haven't read any of the old ones. For one thing, we must be cooler than your friends from HS.

Anything you wish I'd write about more? Me, of course. Honestly, I'm with the others, I sort of wish you'd write more personally and more frequently.

Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)? Let's see, I'm gonna say Mike Gamache, because like me, no one really knows he's a cast member b/c you don't talk about him (yet). And plus, his audition the other night was awesome and he makes cool faces, and I don't think he really knows who I am.

Speaking of the cast, is there anyone not on the page that should be? Not that I know of.

Any guest entry writers you'd like to see? I've seen enough of Golf's writing, but it would be interesting to see how he'd deal with all the people on here who hate him... hrm...

Who's your favorite guest entry writer (not including yourself)? Dude, I gotta go with Sarah's entry about the Car/Truck thing. That killed me. Treva's rocked too. Too hard to choose. I can't believe people don't like the Guest Entries. They're missing out.

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)? I'd like to meet you for more than 3 minutes maybe, yeah. ;)

Any other comments? My feet are cold.

-- Anonymous, November 06, 2000

none really.

just a little over two years [I think I need a life...]

Oh golly, I think a link. I came and went and the page just pulled me back. Eventually I got the hint and bookmarked it.

I like your humor and cynacism mix. You're not a 4.0 6'2" 103 lbs typical teenage girl. I like it.

Actually Depression 2000 showed something I bet many people don't see in you. I didn't guess it at all, you seemed above it, but this grounded you in my mind. I do however like your junior year of high school. I don't know why.

yes, your writing has improved tremendously. In some ways it gets old, but you seem to bring about a new twist, which I like.

I miss K-Mart stories.

I liked the Anna and Shaun mix.

nope.

I'd like to see one from Laurie. Misanthrope intermix [even if you're on your own now.]

Don't have one.

Yes, especially since you're in Virginia now. Head toward D.C. and give me a ring.

Don't let the crap get you down, you're too good to be depleted. And..uh...Virginia rocks. Good choice.

-- Anonymous, November 06, 2000

I have a lot of favorite entries, but I think most of them have something to do with your stories of stupid people at K-mart. They always cracked me up.

I've been reading for a year and a half.

I really don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure it was a link off someone else's page that you don't mention in your journal anywhere. I can't remember who it was...

What made me keep reading was your sarcasm and attitude towards everything. But I think now, that's changed a little. We don't get to read about what you think anymore because you actually have a life now. You're not just moping around, thinking about stuff anymore, I guess.

My favorite period was when you worked at the other K-Mart and you'd tell stupid stories, but I already said that. (Could you tell I liked that part?)

I'd say better in the way that I think you as a person are happier, therefore your entries are happier, but then again, you aren't updating as much (bummer for us, but don't feel like we're obligating you to update every day, because I know you have better things to do), and I don't feel like your entries are really as heartfelt and sincere as they used to be. It's just not the same, but I'm not really sure if it's for the better or for the worse.

Write whatever you feel like writing.

I think Treva sounds pretty cool, talk about her more. She seems like she'd get into some pretty funny situations. i dunno.

not including myself, I think you talk about everyone that needs to be talked about.

ERIC! WRITE A FREAKING ENTRY ALREADY!

Tim would have to be my favorite. He's just so cool.

Yes, I think I'd like to meet you in person. You seem to have a lot of opinions about things which you don't get to talk about that I'd like to hear. Plus I think we'd just have fun fun fun!

No other comments! :o)

Do you have a favorite entry, and if so, what is it? ... i can think of quite a few funny ones, basically anything with a damn work story though. i'm easy to plase.

How long have you been reading? ... a long long time. since the pine- scented days. this is the first journal site i read really regularly.

How did you originally find digital ink? ... from following links from the site of a really melodramatic girl named 'katy' who lived in minnesota.

What made you keep reading (or run away screaming, if that's the case)? ... good writing and general curiousity/noseyness

Do you have a favorite period? Like, a certain year that you like, or a certain time -- like, Depression 2000 (just an example; I hope that's not your favorite period), or the Eric/Laura melodrama, etc? ... my favorite period was probably.. hmm. all of 1998 and 1999. hahah.

Would you say digital ink is getting better with age? ... i don't know. it's a double-edged sword. you wrote a lot when you had no life to write about, and now that you have a life you don't have time to write.

Anything you wish I'd write about more? ... more damn details !! i finally got up the nerve to talk to you on AIM because i was completely lose in all the vagueness. Who's your favorite cast member (not including yourself)? ... i was fond of anna, because of that 'hey this is anna' ghetto-ass voicemail message of hers you posted once

Speaking of the cast, is there anyone not on the page that should be? ... me. :\

Any guest entry writers you'd like to see (either people who haven't written one, or people who haven't written one in a while -- also not including yourself) ... that, i am not sure of.

Who's your favorite guest entry writer (not including yourself)? ... i am truthfully into your entries more than guest entries, but i liked treva's because she was really candid and honest.

Would you ever want to meet me in person (keeping in mind that I'm quite boring)? ... of course. if i'm ever in the area i will try to coax you into meeting me and you'll probably say no. haha

Any other comments? ... this is seriously one of my favorite sites, ever. thank you for doing it.

I miss that Katy girl. And the girl from tristessa.com Hmmmmmmmm...

-- Anonymous, November 08, 2000

Favorite Entry.. Hmm.. No. I did like the entries from before you were a senior.. I don't know why, Just did.

Probably since about the begining of last year.

I couldn't even remember if I tried. You didn't get too deep in your entries, you just said it like it was. Depression 2000 was interesting, the whole Laura thing was completely unbelievable. I also liked the old basketball season entries.. Heh. Honestly? I think it hasn't gotten any worse, but the high school era had me more interested. Nah. Write what you want, that's what a journal is for. Heh, I'm not a cast member anyways.. Sooo.. Not including Katie, herself.. I'd have to say Laura. I'm still finding her actions ironic. Defintely me.. because well, I'm probably about the coolest person in the world. I'd like to see your mom write a guest entry, Katie. Eh... n/a Yes... I would. I wonder if anyone else feels like a complete loser after answering all those questions..
