My little brother just called me, knowing that I would get a chuckle out of this. I hope you do, too.

My mother is a registered Democrat who lives in an as yet undecided state. I am not sure why she is still a registered Democrat, because I know that she didn't vote for Clinton either time. I think she may have voted for Carter once or twice. Anyway, the Democrat party calls her tonight to see if she has mailed back her absentee ballot yet, and she says that no she hasn't. They volunteer to drive over and pick it up at her front door. She accepts, and a short while later a young man in a Gore-Lieberman t-shirt shows up to pick up the absentee ballot.

Little does he know that she is voting for Bush!
