Off to see 'Purely Belter' tonight, for it's opening night (apart from the Gateshead premier).Billy Elliott is very good. Predictable from start to finish, but a good story well told (despite dubious accents throughout).

How come you gave a review of it before you've seen it? made your mind up already ;))

Driving back from school last night listening to the radio, this radio station (most popular in chicago) does a "going to the show with the regular guy" thing. Anyway they did a review of Billy Eliott and this guy who normally doesn't say anything good about anything gave it a rave review. He couldn't say enough about this film about a small town in Northern England. At that point I pulled over, yanked the radio out of the dash and pitched it. foul mouthed yank doesn't knaa the first thing aboot fuck all.
