A student tells me that she saw a news account in the past week that mentioned a "1900" problem in some data files of one of the companies involved in the stories concerning SUV's and tire defects. The "1900" problem according to this person was found in a search for recall data. Did anyone see an article on this? If you have, would you post a URL? Thanks!

Apparently the 1900 date is not a Y2K related matter at all. The date is apparently used as a means of searching the NTSHA data base. Thanks to the person who provided me that information.
