Due to the garden wall collapsing wor lass is bricklaying this weekend leaving me to fly the Foster flag at SJP. This means that I have
A train ticket to Ncle on Saturday leaving KX at 10.30, returning at 8.15 or so. Cost B#30

True, you may want to give it as a package but I'd love the train ticket. Basically because they are accepting tickets out of their booked times at the moment...I'm going on Friday and would basically prefer to pay B#30 than B#77 (which is what I will pay otherwise)... Many thanks for thinking about it. L BTW, GNER has been so bad that I'd leave a bit earlier if I were you.

I'm up at St Thomas' on the 13th and 16th of November. As I said last time, I could arrange to meet you somewhere. 16th would be better. Let me know and we can sort it out off board.

Hi Dougal. Are you sure about being able to get the Friday train? The ticket is a daypex one i.e. for Saturday only.
I rang earlier and they told me that it was as yet uncertain as to what was happening over the next few days and to get the nearest train to the booked one on Sat. if present arrangements stand- they are running trains on the hour today rather than 2 an hour. Also no reserved seats of course!
If you can use the ticket its yours - but I would check.
