So, how do you think we'll do?

Close victory by us. Possibly 2-1.

Home win - just to setup a revenge match against the Brummies. Anybody knaa if that will be home or away, or is that not decided until after tonight's game??

0-1, draw for home or away is after tonight's matches.

penalties or we'll lose 1-0 and Collymore will get it. Remember folks we don't score at home!

The report in the Journal says that Bassedas will start on the bench, with Acuna taking the central midfield birth, it also suggests that there will be few changes from the side that played on Saturday apart from Cordone replacing the cup-tied Lua-Lua and possibly fit-again Domi playing.

Interesting words from Bobby about the attitude of players. He read a letter in the Journal and actually showed it to the players to gee them up. The letter mainly said that our good results had come against poor opposition and the players had to stop feeling sorry for themselves after a few unlucky performances.

The emphasis on scoring first was stressed, lets see if it makes any difference tonight.

I'm going for us to be beaten 2-0....we can't score at home and I've learnt my lesson after predicting that Everton win....

Players like Carbone and Collymore will relish the trip to St James'. I can see them performing well tonight as they are still in their honeymoon periods before they get disgruntled and underachieve.

We'll win 2-0.
Shearer & Cordone.

Very nervous about tonight. We desperately need a win to boost our confidence but I'm not sure we'll get it.

Looking at the responses on here, I think we need the win as much for our confidence as the players. There is absolutely no way why we shouldn't beat Bradford.

Except I don't think we will

It is probably just as well we are playing a Premiership team, looking at the press after Spurs, Leeds and Boro's mishaps last night.

Remember Bradford got an excellent draw against Leeds on Sunday and were by no means out played by a Leeds team with a bit more ommph (whatever that is) than ours.

we'll win. we're good at ending sequences....

So what sequence is Bradford on that we'll be sure to break for them?

-- Anonymous, November 01, 2000

Possible 1-0 win. A header by someone maybe?

Didn't get the metro radio reports from the beginning. Now it is half time and it's heard that a draw(?) 1-1...

I have a stumachfeeling that Speed and Gallacher will score. i hope we can set a good performance today, we surely need it. Saturdays match against Ipswich will not be easy either. Ipswich has surprisingly good players (Clapham, Magilton etc.)

Hope Bassedas can have a run today. i want to see him in action!
