Did he like animals?
-- Mak (email@example.com), October 30, 2000
I really think he didn't care about animals. He was over... and he had probably enough with his wife.
Anyway, I am french and working about a site and a CD-Rom about Boris Vian. So, if you have lots of things to tell me about him, don't hesitate... It's a school project. Thanks See you

I think he was quite fond of cats. Well, that's what this little bio (Poetes d'aujourd'ui, Seghers, 1966) says. And there's quite a few photographs of Vian petting a cat.
And in 'L'herbe rouge' there's a dog of course.

In LA CHARME he mentions leslapins which are waltzing. Les lapins qui valsent. Also use caimans in the same poem So he must have felt something for animals or at least closely observed them.

I believe that he loved all forms of life.
