Well I have no bushisms, but I have a gorism. The other night Gore told the American people on fox network that if under his plan if you made 60,000-$100,000 and you put $1500 in savings that the government would match it with $500,000. He of course probably meant $500, but imagine the income that could be made. I laughed and laughed.

Little bit, Think about how many times in a day you say things and mean something else. Like you said about algore and his $500,000 slip, simple slip. We all do it. Gorism or Bushism, if I had a camara on me 24-7 there'd be a bunch of Johnisms too!

I'll be glad when this election is done. As important as it is, I'm getting worn out hearing all the bs. This election isn't about bush or gore. It's about ideology and which way our country is going to go. Maybe I need to expound (rant) on this in a separate posting. Maybe I should go split wood this morning.

True, a lot of stumbling on the part of the presidential candidates. No doubt, some of the -isms are from the inability to form a complete sentence(!) on Bush's part; whereas Gore does a great job crafting a sentence, but seems to forget how to conclude it and goes on so long he doesn't remember what he started out to say! They both have to be getting close to exhaustion, after all these months. I wouldn't have the stamina, that's for sure. But, I'm sure their egos will keep them going for a little while more!

What amazes me, is how dumbed-down our voters are. I can't even listen to what people say when they are asked who they are going to vote for and why anymore. Yeah, get the election over with!

I agree with you Sheepish and John, but in the best interests of wanting desperately to get this country to return to its Constitutional basics, I have to better understand THE PROBLEM, which seems to be that people are afraid of change, even for the better. "To win the war, you must first know your enemy!", so I make myself ask questions of folks, even if the answers are not what I want to hear, there is always that remote chance I might be able to help change their mind, or at least, to question their current beliefs. Actually we are on line with the constitution. As more groups and individuals need more room to do their thing we have to give up some things so everyone will be partly happy. Believe me it's in there. But in Bush's case I have a problem as Nader put it, A man who's only success in business came off his cronies spending taxpayer money to up the value of his team. I still wonder about him and the saving and loan that went under. At the time daddy covered it up. I for one would like to know what happened.
