I am so sorry to hear of you loss Al. My condolences on the passing of your brother.

-- Aunt Bee (Aunt__Bee@hotmail.com), October 29, 2000.

Very sorry Al. Alcohol is a killer, no doubt about it. It is also responsible in a large part for the dumbing down of America. Be strong friend, he is with Jesus now.

I'm so sorry al -- like you said, no more suffering. I hope you can take some comfort in that.

You are in my thoughts.

I'm very sorry to hear this Al. May I ask how old was your brother? My Dad died from alcoholism at 59. He was also a college grad and a teetotaler until his 30s. Be careful folks.

-- Lars (lars@indy.net), October 29, 2000.

Al,

My heart aches for you. I am so sorry to hear about your brother, but I do believe that you will be reunited one day.

We all have our date with The Lord. Even knowing that, it's so very hard when the ones we love go before us.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Love...Cin

Thank you for letting us know, al. The outpouring of love is real, as you can probably feel.

Death teaches the living to value each breath just a little more. Best to you and yours.

MY prayers are with you in your time of loss, I hope the Lord shortens your time of grief.

-- Nikoli Krushev (doomsday@y2000.com), October 29, 2000.

al-d,

Words cannot express the sorrow that one feels when someone they love passes on. I know that this is true of you as well.

Please rest assure that your brother is in a far better place than you or I at the present time. Someday, you two shall be united once again. Until that time, please keep the good thoughts of your brother alive in your heart and in your mind.

My sympathies, Sheeple

Yup.

-- Carlos (riffraff@cybertime.net), October 29, 2000.

Thanks for joining us in Bok's tonight al. You know that you have our love, concern, and support, as does your family. You know that you need only ask if you need to talk. We are here for you. This tie to each other cannot be broken, it is here for a reason. I think many of us feel this in our hearts, this connection. We have proven it over, and over in the past, and will do so in the future.

-- Aunt Bee (Aunt__Bee@hotmail.com), October 29, 2000.

Al, I am saddened to hear of your loss. But, as your faith tells you, this is not your brother's loss. He is where no sorrow can abide. He merely awaits the telling of the tale before you join him again. That body was all corruption anyway. It had to go sometime.

-- Brian McLaughlin (brianm@ims.com), October 30, 2000.

Al,

I am truly and heartily sorry to hear about your brother's death. Having lost members of my family, I have some small idea of your grief. I always think of my son as being sort of guide in heaven, helping those who have just entered. I'm sure he's showing your brother around now.

-- Jim Cooke (JJCooke@yahoo.com), October 30, 2000.

powerful-word brian, thanks--yes his battle is over!! truly=corruption-put,s on in-corruption!!

all came from GOD----ALL go back to him!!

NO SITTING ON A CLOUD STRUMMING A HARP!!

GODS GREAT-LOVE 101

-- al-d. (dogs@zianet.com), October 30, 2000.

thank you JIM COOKE, GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU.your spirits are shining!! yes i believe my little bro. is AMAZED!! ALL ETERNITY TO GET IT!!

I WOULD NOT DOUBT YOUR SON WILL HELP HIM! THERE IS NO SELFISHNESS IN HEAVEN!-THANKS JIM!

-- al-d. (dogs@zianet.com), October 30, 2000.

Al, you have my deepest sympathy for your loss.

-- Peter Errington (petere@ricochet.net), October 30, 2000.

al, sorry to hear of your loss. A simple prayer.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,

the courage to change the things I can,

and the wisdom to know the difference.

-- Peg (em@i.l), October 30, 2000.

Very sorry Al.

Will keep yall in my prayers.

Deano

-- Deano (deano@luvthebeach.com), October 30, 2000.

Al,

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother; you'll be in my prayers. Know that by your faith you will be reunited someday -- forever.

-- eve (eve_rebekah@yahoo.com), October 30, 2000.

al-d,

I pray that the peace that passes all understanding will surround you during this time of earthly loss.

-- J (Y2J@home.comm), October 30, 2000.

Sorry to chime in late, Al. I am sorry for your loss and know your pain, as I have seen many alcoholics/addicts perish from their disease. God's grace delivered me from that kind of abuse, and for anybody else who reads this, no matter how you may feel about 12 step programs, Alcoholics Anonymous does save lives.

You will be in my prayers al, and your brother will be in the prayers of many recovering alcoholics tonight-many groups close with a prayer for those who have succumbed to the disease that day.

God bless.

-- FutureShock (gray@matter.think), October 30, 2000.

Al:

I'm 'late', as usual. So sorry to hear about your brother. Cin said it best, we ALL have a date. No more pain for your brother, no more heartache either. God's Blessing to ya Al and your family.

Im an alcoholic, and was diagnosed with cirrosis i quit drinking until 1989. I bloated up to well over three hundred pounds. I entered the hospital, and was released three weeks later. I quit drinking until my mom died two years ago. im now back to drinking every day. I guess I am going to die soon. I dont feel very good at all. If any thing touchs my liver, it hurts.

-- ed (edrider007@aol.com), October 30, 2000.

I'm so sorry al.

-- helen (do_not_h@ve.one), October 30, 2000.

Ed,

Please have a look at what Futureshock wrote. AA has saved many lives and it can help you save yours - if you want the help. Go to an AA meeting tonight. You'll find people who understand and who will listen. Good luck.

al-d, How hard it must be to lose a brother- I love mine very much and can only imagine the heartache you must be feeling right now. I always sensed a gentleness about you Al and I'm sure your brother was fortunate to have you for a brother. Take care. Dory
