greenspun.com : LUSENET : Video CD : One Thread

Hi every one out there, I would like to make my own karaoke music video-cd but I don't know how. I have dazzle DVC version 3.61 internet edition, I did some home video, and movie and transfer VHS to VCD and made some music video cd (karaoke Video-CD without text).

Does any body know any software out there to make the text and fade by the song ?, and how to do that?.

I have Karaoke soft ware that do the job without using any overlay board. The soft ware soport all format, DVD CD VHS, editing direct in Adobe pre-6.0

Use Karaoke Builder Studio version 3.0.07 to create a BIN File with CD+G then convert it to AVI. Once this part is done go to Premiere 6.5, import the AVI file to the video 2 track, using the transparency key to overlay on top of your video-clip. Once you have your AVI file made use MPEG Encoder in Premiere to convert to MPEG-2 then go to DVD Architect (from Sonic) to make Menu and burn to DVD or SVCD. See details with screenshoots and a final clip in Media Player here http://www.tenhon.ca/slog/index.asp ( ID: karaoke , PW: guest )

If you want to make a professional karaoke video, then Vegas Video are the one to use. It's not easy like using Karaoke Builder Studio. But the quality of the karaoke effect is suporier than the one from Karaoke Builder Studio. You can also use Adobe Premiere to make karaoke. But the process is much slower than doing in Vegas Video. The quality is same.

Find the .Kar file with vanbasco, find the instrumental version in mp3, Then use KarVid to make automatic avi, then use premiere eventually if you wanna add transparent video.
