1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

Correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an over complicated way.

2. How do you put an elephant into the refrigerator?

Wrong Answer: Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant and close the refrigerator.

Correct Answer: Open the refirgerator, take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your actions.

3. THe Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend except one. Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The Elephant is in the refrigerator. This tests you memory. OK, even if you missed the first 3 you have one more chance.

4. There is a river you must cross but it is inhabited by crocodiles. How do you manage it?

Correct Answer: You swim across. All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Meeting! This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

According to Anderson Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the professionals they tested got all the answers wrong but many preschoolers got more than one answer correct.

A little silly-time now and then helps me get through election season but I did manage to see a lot of us in my own wrong answers. Aw, to think like a kid again.

But the crocodiles might have eaten all the other animals at the meeting and could be back in the river by now. The prudent thing to do is fashion a raft with which to cross the river, ie doomer mentality.
