Just an observation: Cleo and Dave seem to be cast as supporting characters. If I may, I compare Cleo to Haleh as the conscience of the ER, the silent judging outsider. Dave seems to be the new Wendy, cute and funny.

ER has gotten too many main characters and is doing their best to resolve a bad situation.

I totally agree with you. Dave is one of my favorite characters and we barely know anything about him. Writers have hinted a little bit about his past but that's all.

When I saw this title I thought someone was suggesting them as a couple. :-) Actually, Dave might be able to loosen Cleo up a little. But my impression is that she disapproves of his attitude, although I can't remember any specific interactions between them.
