Enjoy your break.

Just got to work, sigh! Well at least it's Friday and I'll probably drunk by the time you lot have lunch.

ITK - missed a couple of team picks due to be away and now the deadlines are too early. I'll try DT.

Young Screach was claiming to be in the lead in the Team Pick the other day on the phone - he must have finally stopped playing Phillipe Albert now he's retired.

I don't know about that Josh.....last time I looked he was still putting David Craig in defence! He's fiddling if you ask me. ;0)

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

It's 02.20 in the UK, why the hell am I still awake?

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

Rik

Whats flowing in your veins besides blood ?

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

You still up JOsh and Rik?? It's 930p in Baltimore, 230a in UK. Just catching up on postings after a day spent discovering just what people mean when they say not to drive in DC. Nearly an hour just to get out of Virginia side! aiie.

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

Yep - I'm working a night for my sins. Its pretty quiet so a bit of BBS work is being fitted in. I've not been on much over the last week or so due to various reasons.

Hiro reckons its 28C in Oz - whats it like in the US of A ? I'm off to Orlando on Nov 11th for 2 weeks with the Joshettes. Hope its hot then.

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

It's tipping it doon here in Kilkenny. And I'm brim full of Jamesons. hic.

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

Not sure about Orlando, though Florida is usually hot year round. It was foggy in the DC-Baltimore area today. Temps in the 60's. Gorgrous sunset tonight, red sky to go with all the fall foliage now at peak color. One benefit of the long drive! :-)

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

LT Did a tour of the Jamesons old distillery in Dublin and ended up one of the volunteers to do a 'tasting' - ooh er - 11 am sitting infront of 6 measure of whisky + a double free + a double for doing the tasting. Had a very mellow rest of day browse round the City.

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

Mellow's the bestest way to see the 'durty old town' IMO. A canny enough place but better seen thru whisky-tinted spectacles methinks. Unlike sparkling Kilkenny. More pubs than you can shake a stick at. What tim eis it anyway and why am I stil staring at the TV ?

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

Its now 04:20. Whats on ?

or has the picture shrunk to the small dot and you're trying to work out why ?

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

Well THIS is on if truth be known ! I'm using one of those internet TV thingies for the first time. It's ntriguing thogh godonlyknowswhy as the technology's not exactly groundbreaking is it ? Mind, the state I'm in watching an American Football game would be intriguing. What you up to anyroad ?

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

We've got some new stuff going live at work and they need cover.

Is that Internet TV thing worth it ? My Mum wants a PC but is a techno phobe - will that do as well ?

-- Anonymous, October 26, 2000

There's never anyhing alive at my work heehee. As for your mam, this one actually belongs to wor lass' mother. Said mam was only a little bit PC lit. prior to being given this one and seems to have taken to it Ok. Though to be fair she only really uses it to email family around the globe - hasn't yet sussed out what the internet is - hasn't really sussed out the 20 channels of satellite tele it also came with if truth be known. Prospect of someone who hasn't ever used a computer sitting witha wireless-free keyboard on their knee as they surf grandaddy porn while watchin MTV on the pop-up box doesn't sound too likely to me. Mind you I'm all for new tricks for old dogs and all that. Not that I'm suggesting your good lady is either a hoond, getting long in th tooth or a perv you understand ?! Excuse me while I just choke on my own size 11. Time for bed methinks. Night Jim-Bob

See y'all

-- Anonymous, October 27, 2000

Gosh Josh, what time is it? Pleasant dreams!

-- Anonymous, October 27, 2000

Where's everybody gone? I've been laid up in me sick bed for 36 hours, and when I finally drag mesel' back into the great wide, nee buggas there.

And as for you ITK - at least I can have the excuse of "fiddler's elbow". What's your excuse for the sore wrist? As if we didn't knaa.

PS. I've got Stan Seymour in my teampick this week. Mind, I'm having trouble finding a goalie's ganzie to fit him. Josh - any spare room at Orlando? I might have a free weekend.

-- Anonymous, October 27, 2000

Screach

I'm sure we can find some floor space - we're there 11th-25th Nov - Maurice & Sue + kids are with- there's game on the 18th against somebody or other - will it be on TV in the US ?

Josh
